You can now get started in high-resolution 3D printing without breaking the bank with the Anycubic Photon Mono 4. This resin 3D printer is Anycubic’s most affordable option, and it’s now even cheaper as it’s on sale for just $189.99 for Amazon Prime members. That’s a $50 savings on its original $239.99 price, meaning you’re getting 21% off SRP. If you don’t have Amazon Prime and don’t want to sign up for it, you can also visit the Anycubic website directly to get it at the same price.

The Photon Mono 4 is Anycubic’s entry-level resin 3D printer, and while we haven’t gotten the chance to test this exact model out yet, the first version of the Photon Mono received excellent remarks in our review, while the Photon Mono 2 received the Best for Beginners award in our list of the Best Resin 3D Printers. The biggest advantage that you get with the newer Photon Mono 4 is its 10K precision, allowing it to print even finer details compared to the 4K resolution that the previous model had. It also boasts a larger 7-inch screen and a print volume of 2.2 liters, allowing you to go bigger with your projects, even if you’re just using an “entry-level” 3D printer.

Watch On

While Anycubic has more feature-packed resin 3D printers on sale, you won’t feel short-changed with the Photon Mono 4. It comes with an activated carbon air purifier to help reduce noxious fumes, and if you get a power interruption during the printing process, you can simply resume the last project once you get the power back to reduce resin waste. It also as print speed of around 70mm/h, provided you use a compatible high-speed resin.

The Photon Mono 4’s discounted price may also make it a more attractive offer compared to competing 3D printers from Elegoo, like the Mars 5 and the Mars 5 Ultra. While the Creality Halot R6 is still more affordable at just $139 on Amazon, it has a much smaller 6.08-inch LCD screen and a build volume of just 1.7 liters. So, for just around $50 more, the Photon Mono 4’s larger build volume makes for an attractive proposition.
